Eveliina Kytömäki

Eveliina Kytömäki is a versatile keyboardist, proficient in playing the harpsichord, fortepiano, and modern piano. She studied piano performance at the Sibelius Academy with teachers Tuija Hakkila, Ilmo Ranta, and Jussi Siirala. Her exploration of fortepiano and historical performance practices led her to Cornell University in the United States, where she studied under Malcolm Bilson. She also studied harpsichord and continuo playing at Yrkeshögskola Novia under the guidance of Petteri Pitko.
Kytömäki has performed at various domestic festivals, including the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival, Savonlinna Opera Festival, music festivals in Oulu, Mänttä, and Turku, as well as in concert series at the Sibelius Academy. Her performances have extended to Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Belgium, France, England, Austria, and the United States. She has recorded for Yleisradio (the Finnish Broadcasting Company) and collaborated with Helena Juntunen on recordings of Väinö Raitio's songs. From 2007 to 2008, Kytömäki worked as a chamber musician in the Norwegian ensemble MiNensemble. Currently residing in Turku, she serves as a lecturer in piano performance and piano pedagogy at the Turku University of Applied Sciences' Arts Academy.
